I am a young Lady living overseas who has been trained in a recognised institution for 2 years after writing my NMC licensing exams and has been awarded with a certificate as a healthcare assistant.I have done online courses which I think will be important to the role I am applying for example 15 standard care courses,Dementia,Elderly care,people living with disabilities and am willing to take any training that will be beneficial to the role I am applying for.

I am a caring,energetic and empathetic lady who has the ability to understand and share the feelings of my patients.I am compassionate and kind because I always see to it that my care receivers are given the best of care,a care I will wish for myself or loved ones.The reason why I easily bond with my patients is because of how I treat them with dignity and respect and also empower them to set and reach their personal goals.I have this belief that where there is team work there is greater output of production.

I have 5 years professional experience caring for people ( Kids,adults and Elderly).From 2018 to 2020 I worked as volunteer carer in my community as a Domiciliary or community carer and a live-in carer.My Clients were assisted in areas where they needed to be assisted.Sometimes too they are left alone to do things on their own whiles supervising them.The following were my responsibility

•Assisting with personal care( feeding,bathing,washing,toileting).

• Checking and monitoring of vital signs

• House keeping

• Going on errands like shopping for client.

• Escorting client on hospital checkup

• Serve us a companion to client

• Assist with ambulation

• Do minor wound dressing

From 2020 till date I have been employed as a healthcare assistant in a District referral hospital where I was promoted as a senior enrolled nurse. I assist registered nurses to take care of cases like mental illness, surgical conditions,ulcers and medical conditions. These are highlights of my responsibilities.

• Assist with continent care

• Supporting people with mental health problems to live independently both in their homes and hospital

• Support client perform activities in their daily activities according to their care plan.

• Work with service users in a way that promotes recovery, independence and social inclusion.

• Directing task to junior staffs or students nurses.

• Experience in venepuncture

•Assisting with manual handling, lifting and moving patient around.

• Personal care thus feeding ( oral, parenteral),Bathing,Washing,
Toileting,Bed making and changing of diapers.

•Providing friendly and emotional support

•Providing assistance with bathing and dressing and continence support

•Prepare and serve nutritional meals and help with feeding when needed.
