I completed my Certified Nursing Assistant course at Nairobi West Hospital, where I undertook six months of training followed by a three-month internship. During this period, I gained hands-on experience in patient care, assisting with activities of daily living, maintaining hygiene, monitoring vital signs, supporting mobility, and ensuring patients’ comfort and safety.

In addition to my CNA training, I completed a one-and-a-half-year Perioperative Theatre Technology course at Imperial College of Medical and Health Sciences, followed by a three-month internship at AIC Mission Hospital Litein. This training equipped me with knowledge and practical skills in surgical patient preparation, theatre procedures, infection prevention and control, maintaining sterile environments, and supporting healthcare professionals during surgical care.

I am further qualified through my Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, First Aid training, and Basic Nursing training, which have strengthened my ability to respond effectively in emergencies and provide safe and competent care to patients with different healthcare needs.

My combined experience in nursing assistance and perioperative care has helped me develop strong skills in teamwork, communication, attention to detail, and working under pressure. I am a reliable, hardworking, and compassionate healthcare worker who is committed to upholding patients’ dignity and contributing to high standards of care.
