About Me

Hello! My name is Alice. I am a 19-year-old from Kenya. I am a friendly, caring, responsible, patient and hardworking person. I enjoy spending time with children and helping people.

I am currently studying caregiving at Membly Technical College, where I am learning about childcare, first aid, personal care, safety, hygiene and supporting people with their daily needs. I expect to complete my caregiving course in March 2027.

Why I Want to Become an Au Pair

I would love to become an au pair because I enjoy caring for children and I would like to experience living with a family in another country. I am interested in learning about a new culture, improving my language skills and becoming more independent.

I would be happy to help with children's daily routines, preparing simple meals, keeping their belongings organized, playing with them, helping with homework and making sure they are safe and comfortable.

My Personality

I am calm, respectful, trustworthy and willing to learn. I understand that every family has different rules and routines, and I am ready to respect the family's way of doing things. I also communicate openly and ask questions whenever I am unsure about something.

What I Can Do With Children

I can:

Play games and do creative activities with children

Read stories and help with homework

Help children with their daily routines

Prepare simple meals and snacks

Help keep children's rooms and belongings organized

Accompany children during activities and outings

Make sure children follow safety and hygiene practices

My Goals

My goal is to have a positive experience with a host family, learn from each other and become more confident and independent. I would also like to gain more childcare experience that will support my future career in caregiving.

I hope to find a kind and respectful host family that will welcome me as part of their family. I am ready to learn, help and build a good relationship with the family and their children.
