Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to apply for the Nurse Assistant position within your organisation. My name is Kelly Chigwada, a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support professional with a QQI Level 5 qualification and hands-on experience currently working at Railside Medical Center in Chegutu since January 2025 to present.

In my current role at Railside Medical Center, I work directly under the supervision of registered nurses to provide high-quality, patient-centred care. My daily responsibilities include:

- Assisting patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility
- Monitoring and recording vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse and reporting any changes promptly
- Maintaining strict infection prevention and control standards and ensuring a clean, safe ward environment
- Providing emotional support and companionship to patients and families, especially the elderly and chronically ill
- Assisting with admissions, transfers, and documentation

This experience has strengthened my clinical skills, my ability to remain calm under pressure, and my commitment to treating every patient with dignity, respect, and confidentiality.

I am a hardworking, punctual, and empathetic team player with excellent communication skills. I am proficient in manual handling, safety and health at work, and care of the older person – all key modules of my QQI Level 5 training. I am eager to bring my dedication and experience to a larger team where I can continue to learn and contribute.
