Dear Hiring Manager,
I am writing to apply for an apprenticeship in the engineering and construction field with your company. I am a motivated and hardworking individual seeking to train in a skilled trade, build a solid technical foundation, and grow into a reliable member of your team. I am ready to relocate and begin an Ausbildung at the earliest opportunity.
I am drawn to engineering and construction because I enjoy practical, hands-on work and take pride in seeing a project completed to a high standard. I am physically fit, comfortable working outdoors and in a team, and I learn quickly when shown a task. I am dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious, and I understand that an apprenticeship means earning trust through consistent effort. I am committed to completing my training in full and qualifying as a skilled tradesperson.
I am available to start from early 2027 and am prepared to move for the right placement. I am willing to learn German to the level required for the role and the workplace, and I am eager to adapt to the standards and work culture of your company. Whatever the specific trade — whether carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, or general construction — I am ready to put in the work to master it.
Thank you for considering my application. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how I can contribute to your team and would be glad to provide any further information or references you require. I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely,
Alex Mwaura
