Dear Hiring Manager,

I am applying for a Software Engineering position. I enjoy developing reliable, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces and software systems. My approach to development is guided by clarity, maintainability, and a genuine focus on building tools that make users’ work easier and more efficient.

My foundation in frontend and full-stack development was formed in industry roles in Lebanon, where I developed web applications using ReactJS and ExpressJS and delivered mobile interfaces with React Native. Working with modern JavaScript, semantic HTML, and responsive CSS, I translated requirements into maintainable interfaces, integrated REST APIs, and kept repositories clean with Git. I pay attention to performance from the start and validate improvements through careful testing. While my main expertise is in React and JavaScript, I adapt easily to new technologies and environments.

During my time in Vienna at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), my work centered on Microsoft 365–based internal platforms rather than React. I improved a large SharePoint environment, supported teams with well-organized content, and delivered tools using Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse. These projects strengthened the skills essential for effective software engineering: requirement analysis, quality assurance, documentation, and collaboration with non-technical stakeholders. For clarity, my React/Express and React Native experience comes from my roles in Lebanon, while my IAEA work focused on SharePoint and the Power Platform.

I have a strong grounding in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, API integration, responsive design, and accessibility—all core areas for modern software engineering. I am also ready to build upon my existing knowledge in ASP.NET MVC 5 with Razor, SQL Server, ERP contexts, PHP, and design patterns, to contribute effectively to a wider range of development tasks. I communicate clearly in English and am currently learning German to improve my ability to collaborate in multilingual teams. I work independently with a hands-on mindset and am ready to take on new challenges immediately.
