I am a qualified Nursing Care Assistant (TCAE) with experience in hospital settings and residential care for older adults. For me, caring for someone means much more than simply meeting their physical needs. It also means taking the time to get to know them, listen to them and understand how they feel. I believe everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, patience and kindness, because sometimes a simple gesture, a conversation or simply feeling heard can make a real difference. I have experience in basic nursing care, personal hygiene, patient mobility, repositioning, nutritional assistance, pressure ulcer prevention, and pre and post operative care. I consider myself a caring, attentive, responsible and dedicated person who is genuinely committed to the well being of others. I believe in providing personalised care, paying attention not only to each person’s individual needs but also to the little details that make them feel understood, comfortable and supported. My greatest satisfaction comes from knowing that, beyond providing care, I can make someone feel heard, valued and a little better each day.
