I am writing to express my strong interest in joining your institution as a nursing apprentice. I am a qualified Registered Nurse from The Gambia with an Advanced Diploma in Nursing from Gambia College, School of Nursing and Midwifery, which I completed in 2025.
During my nursing education and clinical placements, I gained practical experience in various areas of healthcare, including medical and surgical wards, Accident and Emergency, outpatient departments, paediatric units, and the labour ward. These experiences strengthened my clinical skills, sense of responsibility, communication abilities, and passion for providing safe and compassionate care to patients.
My goal is to continue developing professionally in Germany and to build a long-term career in nursing. I am particularly interested in your apprenticeship programme because I believe it would provide me with valuable practical experience while allowing me to further develop my professional knowledge and German language skills.
I am currently learning German and working towards improving my language proficiency so that I can communicate confidently with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals. I am motivated, hardworking, adaptable, and willing to learn. As someone who has already received nursing training, I am also prepared to bring my existing knowledge and clinical experience while learning and adapting to the German healthcare system.
