I am in the person of Miss Rosina Ahiney Amarquaye, a 32years old lady born on 08/05/1993 and happen to be the first of two children born to my parents. I take delight in listening to music during my leisure time. I am currently practicing as a nurse at the Nkwanta South Municipal Hospital in the Oti region of Ghana under the Ghana Health Services at the Accident and Emergency unit having a little over 4years working experience. I double as the deputy ward manager hence making me practice both bedside and managerial roles.
I have a good interpersonal relationship with patients, relatives and colleagues as well hence ensuring a smooth management of the unit.
My roles are
To monitor patients vital signs
To ensure good communication skills
Administration of medication via various routes
Performing some invasive procedures like IV cannulation, passing of urethral catheter for both sexes, passing of Nasogastric tubes both for feeding and draining of fluid, taking blood sample for various investigation.
Bed bath and assisted bathroom bath
Oxygen administration
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Patient monitoring using the cardiac monitor
Education of patients on condition, diet and medications among others.
I possess a good communication skills and have good interpersonal relationship with all those around, stress management which makes working very good. I enjoy providing care for all walks of patients irrespective of their nationality, tribe or skin colour which I feel is a good tool because a happy patient means he or she is satisfied with the care rendered to him or her.
I believe I am the best candidate for this job and when given a chance I will be glad to come on board to also help with my skills and to satisfy our clients also raising the name of the institution high. I am also open to learn new techniques to build upon my skills.
