My name is Asiedu Owusu Prince, a Ghanaian by descent and a passionate healthcare professional. I am a Registered General Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, and I have a strong foundation built upon both academic achievement and practical clinical experience.
My nursing journey began in 2019, when I completed the Nurse Assistant Clinical course and graduated with distinction in the General Paper. Following this, I served as a Home Care Nurse Assistant, providing extended care to patients who had been discharged from hospitals. This opportunity was made possible through recommendations from professional nurses I had the privilege of training with, who recognized my dedication and potential in patient care.
In 2021, I advanced my education by enrolling in the Registered General Nursing program, which I completed in 2024. While pursuing my degree, I continued to serve patients diligently and gained valuable hands-on experience. I am currently employed at Mercy Women’s Catholic Hospital in Ghana as an Enrolled Nurse. My responsibilities include supporting patients with activities of daily living, hygiene, feeding, grooming, administering prescribed medications, executing treatment plans, and providing emotional support.
I am known for being organized, calm, patient, and highly skilled in clinical procedures. My professional journey from home care to hospital-based nursing has provided me with the knowledge and compassion needed to deliver high-quality care. Although I am currently working as an Enrolled Nurse, my training as a Registered Nurse and the practical experience I’ve gained make me a strong candidate for more advanced nursing roles.
I am seeking a challenging and growth-oriented work environment where I can fully utilize my skills, contribute to team goals, and continue learning. I look forward to the opportunity to further discuss my qualifications in an interview.
