Duties and Responsibilities
A registered Medical - Surgical Nursing nurse who is implemented wound care techniques, catheterization, and nasogastric tube management
-Provided comprehensive patient care including admission, assessment, and monitoring of vital signs.
- Administered medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed.
- Assisted in pre- and post-operative care, wound management, and pain control.
- Operated and maintained medical equipment such as infusion pumps, suction machines, and cardiac monitors.
- Educated patients and families on disease management, treatment plans, and discharge care.
- Collaborated with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Maintained accurate documentation and adhered to safety and infection control protocols.
A registered Obstetrics Ward nurse who assisted in providing care to obstetric patients, including monitoring vital signs, assisting in normal deliveries, providing newborn care, and supporting mothers with breastfeeding and post-partum care.
- Gained hands-on experience in maintaining patient comfort, preparing delivery instruments, and collaborating with the healthcare team in emergency situations.
- Duties include administering medications, constant monitoring of vital signs, providing fluid therapy, oxygen therapy and giving the proper nutrition for the mother and the baby.
