COVER LETTER
Hello ,My Name is Johnson Prosper; I am a 33 years old, I am Tanzanian graduate with a Diploma in performing and visual arts from Bagamoyo College of Art. There are many factors which are pushing me to work with you.I would like to work in your place and also make use of your platform to increase the visibility of working from you as well as the awareness on social, political and economic realities of my home country specifically; my aim is to work with you as in opportunity to gain new knowledge and professional experience and to make a significant contribution with my existing skills, ideas and knowledge.
Coming from a developing country going to developed countries is really exciting for me. Specifically, I want to learn more about the challenges young people face in other countries and how they face these challenges. Hopefully, I can also bring in my own talents and skills into the local communities in my country.Additionally, I’m excited to explore a different approach of working and how I can bring ideas from these approaches to intercultural in Tanzania
Working with People with different cultural Backgrounds also increasing my experience working and also working with Young People and children from a different country can help me to get a deeper understanding of how System operate and work.
Before the project, I am planning to learn more about the culture including the language, food and life style.During the program, I will engage to be flexible and I will take any effort necessary in order to achieve the project goal. Moreover, I will share my experience, my time, my energy and my knowledge. I will be open-minded of sharing information and I am free to do all tasks and duties for the purpose of the project and to facilitate the day to day activities to keep the project running.
After the project, I will balance the story about Europe and make on going process. My participation in the project will provide me with an opportunity to understand the reality of Europe, on which I will be able to share with my community and areas of work. Finally, I am expecting to continue working and support the work of my organization through facilitating workshops, leading work camps, recruiting and preparing future volunteers for the same project or other similar projects.
On my return, I will continue to be involved in the subjected project, using the experience to develop the ideas and strengthen of the project to community groups.I am expecting to gain knowledge and experience useful to contribute to development of my community and country specifically in the area of, educational projects, cultural, political and social intercultural learning. After the program I would like to be more involved and especially sharing my living and working experience.
