Am female Ugandan aged 33 years, holding a bachelor’s degree of commerce in accounting from Makerere University Business School and undertaken several other on-the-job training as detailed in my CV below.
Currently, working with Mukwano bookshop as a general administrator and doing a remote part time job with Stand on your own (NGO in Ntungamo), details of the positions and key responsibilities are in the CV.
Through my past and current job assignments undertaken over the years, I acquired analytical skills and experience in working with non-government organisations as well as in commerce. A proven record of efficiency in establishing, organizing, and managing office procedures. Proficient in a wide range of computer applications. Solid bookkeeping skills, excellent scheduling skills, and a strong background in customer relations. Recognized for the ability to successfully meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks and projects with a positive attitude. A self-directed worker who enjoys a fast-paced work environment. Now looking to take the next career step with added responsibility and challenge.
During my volunteering and working as a volunteer coordinator I got an outstanding experience in governance, child protection, focused programs that offer education, economic strengthening, project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. Well versed with assessing community needs and understanding basic policies and laws on issues related to targeting and improving the wellbeing and fight poverty in vulnerable groups. My core competences are communication skills; information gathering and management decision-making; problem-solving; flexibility; team working; strategic planning and reports writing. My technical skills include Ms word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Access; typing skills; excellent spelling and grammar skills.
