My Name is Juliet Afriyie Afrifa, a Ghanaian Bachelor of Science degree holder, professionally trained as a Nurse Midwife, with six years of clinical experience, I have served as a professional nurse midwife with the Ghana Health Service, delivering comprehensive maternal care, newborn care and general nursing care across various healthcare settings.
My role has primarily focused on providing antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to women, OPD and triaging, family planning services, HIV and STI management, as well as ensuring safe deliveries and promoting reproductive health education. I have one year of volunteer service as a Care Nurse which was rendered to close family members and neighbors during my stay at home before government postings.
My career has equipped me with a strong foundation in maternal and child health, patient care, and surgical procedures, including two years of hands-on experience in the operating theatre.
