Dear Sir/Madam
I am writing to express my interest in the midwifery position at your noble facility as advertised. With over five years of hands-on clinical experience and a proven record of delivering compassionate, patient-focused care, I am confident in my ability to make a valuable contribution to your healthcare team.
In my role at Atiankama Nkwanta CHPs and currently at Asuoso CHPs, I conducted comprehensive patient assessments, administered treatments, provided wound care, and educated patients and their families on health promotion and illness prevention conducting deliveries caring for pregnant women before during and after delivery. I am adept at operating and maintaining essential medical equipment, including suction machines, sphygmomanometers, pulse oximeters, and nebulizers. These skills, combined with my Midwifery training from the Nursing & Midwifery training College in Atibie, have equipped me with the knowledge and dedication required for excellence in patient care.
Beyond my technical skills, I bring strong teamwork, critical thinking, and time management abilities. I take pride in creating a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, and I am deeply committed to upholding the highest standards of nursing practice. As a member of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwifes Association, I remain committed to continuous professional growth and ethical service delivery.
I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my skills and dedication align with the needs of the patient in my care. Thank you for considering my application, and I look forward to the possibility of joining your team to continue making a positive difference in patients’ lives.
Yours sincerely,
Esther Sarpong
