APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AS A CARER
I am very much interested in the position of a Carer in your esteemed organization.
I am a self-motivated person with the drive to succeed. An experienced and well-qualified carer
with good working knowledge of care giving regulations, including good practice, and health
and safety standards.
Experienced in the care of young people, adults and elderly, as well as those with special needs
and/or mental health conditions. I am able to care out all aspects of the role from personal care,
administering medication, meal preparation and record keeping.
I have had the opportunity to be part of a team of health care students from my school in Ghana
and worked in a care home in Denmark as a volunteer. I assisted in taking patients' blood
pressure readings, administered drugs, bathed and took a walk with clients. Adjusting to
challenging situations is my identity and I am always willing to learn to improve.
My huge empathy and patience, coupled with strong interpersonal skills helps me to always
remain calm, composed and use effective communication and decision-making skills to find a
solution.
As a team player I am very willing to attend meetings and learn new ways of doing things. I
believe, if granted the position I will add value to the workforce of your esteemed organization.
