I completed my Diploma in Business Information Technology, Diploma in Project management, Certificate in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental illness and since then, I’ve accrued eight years’ experience in different fields. During that time, I’ve gradually built a strong foundation of knowledge regarding the various tasks and duties required of me. For instance, I’m now deeply familiar with different data management policies, community engagement and Coordination, Facilitation, Social Inclusion, Microsoft office and other office management software’s, and I have developed a suite of efficiency tools to keep my work organized and up to task.
Working as a Research/ data analyst and Project Assistant at Voluntary Service Overseas has prepared me to meet the challenges of the Post in a professional way. I believe that, equipped with my proven skills and team work abilities, I can contribute effectively to the Organization and be a valuable employee.
Having worked as a Field officer at Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO) a UK organization for more than two years, an ICT and Entrepreneurship Program assistant/ Facilitator for the Machakos County Government Youth project, community facilitator for Deaf Empowerment Kenya (DEK) and promoted to Field officer/ Supervisor under the Adolescent and Young People Global Fund program, I am fully skilled in all aspects of the job. Additionally, I am adept at developing project schedules, producing professional presentations and reports. Throughout the years, I have proved numerous times that I am an excellent team player with well-developed organizational and multitasking skills and the important ability to function in fast-paced and deadline-driven business environments.
