Caring for others has always been very important to me, and I am eager to further develop my skills and knowledge in patient care.
I have gained practical experience as a Private Care Assistant, where I supported a physically disabled individual with daily activities including personal hygiene, mobility, dressing, and nutrition. I also operated a patient lift safely and provided emotional support and companionship. In addition, I provided home care for my grandmother, which gave me a deeper understanding of elderly care and the importance of respectful, patient-centered support.
Furthermore, a personal hospital stay following an accident had a significant impact on my career goals. During that time, I observed the dedication, professionalism, and compassion of the healthcare staff, which strongly inspired me to pursue work in this field. This experience confirmed my desire to contribute to a hospital environment by supporting patients during challenging and vulnerable moments.
