My name is Apalowo Ruth, and I am a motivated and detail oriented final-year student of Guidance and Counselling (B.Ed.), graduating November 2025. Through my course and hands on experiences I have developed strong skills in communication, empathy, research and problem-solving.
I have applied these skills while conducting my final-year research project on Exploring Orphan Vulnerability, coordinating surveys and analysing data mentoring and counselling students in my community to improve their academic performance and emotional resilience and volunteering with local groups to deliver workshops on personal development and career guidance. These accomplishments have strengthened my ability to support individuals, maintain confidentiality and create positive outcomes.
