To whom it may concern.
I’m pleased to be writing to you today regarding my application for the nursing position. I believe my qualifications and experience make me an ideal candidate for this job. As a soon to be nursing graduate, I’m excited to submit my application for the position at your reputable hospital. I’m confident my passion for excellent patient care and improving lives will make me a strong addition to your team and an immediate asset at your hospital/nursing home.
Through my university, I had an opportunity to gain clinical practice experience at The Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University. While there, I found that making a positive impact on patients and their families was extremely rewarding. Ultimately, I’m confident my training, education, dedication and hands on experience with patient care make me an ideal fit for your hospital/nursing home.
I have a Higher certificate, Advanced certificate in Pharmacy Technician with 2 years work experience and I will acquire my Bachelors of science in Nursing degree in July 2022. During my internship i have proven experience of working effectively and efficiently managing both patients and classmates as the class leader. I am an extremely organized, calm, and patient professional with excellent healthcare skills. I have a passion for providing quality care to patients, and the necessary leadership skills to inspire other classmates to strive to provide above standard levels of service.
During my 4 years of studying in Xuzhou Medical University, I've been awarded the 1st class scholarship for 3 years and as the class leader i show great potential of leadership skills. In my studies and internship, I’ve been recognized as a dedicated, ambitious, and reliable person who has the ability to work without supervision.
In addition, my year internship experience as a Nurse Intern has helped me realize and implement clinical duties I learned during the course of my education. While employed there, I was commended for proficiently handling difficult situations with patients and their family members. Considering the fact that most of our patients speak Mandarin, I dedicated some time to study the local language and Medical Chinese to better help and understand my patients.
I believe a relationship with your hospital would be mutually beneficial, as I am seeking a positively challenging work environment where I can utilize my skills to the fullest extent. I look forward to hearing from you, and would love to explain my skills further during an interview.
Sincerely,
Nontobeko Lynn Ndamase
