As a science students i have great interest in scientific practice and its application to direct clinical care of patients in a clinical environment. As a matter of fact, i carried on a research entitle knowledge and practice of health care personnel in the notions of Pelvic inflammatory disease in a general hospital. i made use of well-structured questionnaire to appreciate the knowledge and practice nurses of the general hospital had regarding Pelvic inflammatory diseases and base on my findings i could conclude that they had less required knowledge on the topic and as such cases of PID were not properly manage and could arise to several complication. In carrying out my research i came across several challenges like lack of information from the health personnel on the topic, little or no information on the protocol to follow when face with a case of pelvic inflammatory disease and more to that shortage of equipment and little or no patient especially the youth came in for routine obstetrical checkups. So, it was concluded that the public health notions and practice were not really put into place in the hospital reason why we were confronted with these challenges. We now the core objective in health is to attain health for all especially in the less develop countries like the one i am coming from so proper investigation and timely management on the top cases of determinant of health will greatly contribute to the reassessment of health and that is only possible through public health strategies. So having gone through investigation and analysis on these in the general hospital in Cameroon i would like to gain more knowledge and practice on how to foster more of the notions and skills in the community and health care settings so as to maximize the chances of the public ti have efficient and timely care and most especially respecting the concept or primary health care which allows the public to participate in his own welfare and having those service done in a prince they can afford and making it reachable to them not taking into consideration their social status, race or ethnicity but treating each and every one equally as the first right of human so far as health is concern is that everyone has the right to health equally. All these i could observe it through the research i did back then and i know i still have more to learn to perfect my skills and obtain a good result to put it to the profit of the community and put my own little contribution in helping the world especially the less develop world attaining that state of health for all and be stronger countries, stronger nations and a stronger world health wise.


When I was a student, I had to do several internships in my country and i worked with several team and group members in different unit and in the different environment and i have to say that each group has taught me one different lesson. For some it was team work collaboration, for others it was intersectoral collaboration were several units worked together in other to achieve same goal, also the spirit of timely and appropriate diagnosis which can save ones live because i worked in the emergency department of the general hospital in Douala Cameroon where seconds are like diamonds so working there have help develop my skill in appropriate and timely management of cases which later prove to be useful in other units cause the speed with which you can manage a case can determine if the patient is going to leave or not. Also being a senior to other volunteers working with me develop the spirit of leadership and commitment because you are a model to them so having the right actions is very important. Having a sense of adaptation is also an important skill one need to possess because not all health settings are the same maybe due to the resources available, they adapt their actions to meet up the need of the public, having gone through l internships and volunteer with non-profitable organizations i can consider myself as having the ability to adapt but i am clearly conscious that i need to learn more and perfect my skills

Being a young and passionate lady of health science i have always put myself in condition physically to be able to fulfill the tasks given to me. i take good care of myself physically and i make sure to exercise regularly to keep the body and mind in form. From my past experience in the hospital setting and community i have an excellent record or presence. I have the ability to maintain wide range of activities within my scope of activities. Being physically and mentally healthy i can meet the requirement of traveling from one part of the world to the other and also cope with the clinical rotation settings.

I am proud to say I have worked with the best in various health domain both in my home country Cameroon and outside the country like in North Cyprus where I have the privilege to work with one the best Gynecologist and pioneer in IVF treatment In north Cyprus and beyond. I learn a lot while being a member of his staff and I know I will still learn a lot where ever you deemed necessary to place me. Nursing is a not a profession to me it’s à vocation and a passion.
