I am writing this brief summary so that they know about my work environment.

My name is Genelyn Lezama, I took a laboratory technician course and started my practices when I was studying the third semester of nursing degree, at the Universidad de Oriente nucleus Bolivar Venezuela, even though I thought that studying medicine was another option, then as time went by I began to carry out my nursing practices and it was there that I discovered that medicine was for me, i liked that approach to people, caring for and looking after their well-being, caring for the sick, helping them with their recovery, that I fell in love with and dedicated myself to my career, in addition, it should be mentioned that my mother, who rests in peace, presented multiple pathologies, she was the main cause for me to love the nursing career. When I obtained my bachelor's degree, I did an internship in a public hospital that was my school, practically I would not leave there, without expecting any remuneration in return, what mattered to me at that time was obtaining knowledge and helping all the people who needed it, that was for my profit. Then I applied to a private institution, the Caroni Clinic Hospital in Puerto Ordaz, Bolivar state, Venezuela. There I entered as nurse 2 in the care area, plant nurse and in free time I entered intensive care, I liked that area, there I was learning until they changed me, I went from plant nurse to critical area nurse, we set the limits ourselves, so then I became part of the coordinating team of the clinical institute, thanks to my performance and growth as a person and at a professional level, always having a vocation in my career. Then I emigrated to the Dominican Republic, and currently I work with a home care company, dedicated to older adults, I am about to serve 11 months working with this company, giving my best and showing that nursing is not as many think, that It is only applying treatments, this is a job that covers many more things and day by day I do it with a lot of vocation.
