COVER LETTER FOR THE POSITION OF A REGISTERED NURSE

I am writing to express my interest in the position of Registered Nurse in your establishment.

I am a gentleman of thirty-one-year-old and I hail from the Jirapa District in the Upper West Region of Ghana.

I am a final year Master's student of Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Course in Emergency and Critical Care Nursing at the University of Oviedo, Spain, Polytechnic Institute of Santarem, Portugal, University of Algarve, Portugal, Edinburgh Napier University, Scotland-UK and due to defend my project early February 2021. I completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nurse Practitioner from The University for Development Studies and have undertaken my full internship as a Nurse Practitioner in the Tamale West Hospital for a period of six months immediately after graduation.

I also read a Diploma in General Nursing at the Tamale Nursing and Midwifery Training College and graduated in May 2011 leading to registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana as a Registered General Nurse in November 2012.
With a strong desire to learn more and also translate my nursing knowledge into practice, I am motivated to apply for this position to enable me to realize my dreams.

Having seven years of working experience in a tertiary facility as a Registered Nurse, I have gained a lot of knowledge from a variety of departments and this gives me the confidence and motivation to say that I will be a great asset if given the opportunity to work with you.

I will be willing to undergo any in-service training that may come with the job in case I am given an offer.
