Dear Sir/madam.
l am an internationally trained health worker in the medical field as a physician Assistant, licensed by the Ghana medical and dental council, looking forward to be employed as a health care assistant in abroad.
I hold a bachelor's degree in Physician Assistantship from central university college accredited by Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in ghana. I am currently employed by the ministry of health Ghana with Church of God Health services .
I have more than five years working experience in clinical care , more than 15year experience in parental care and 6year experience in home care services for the elderly.
As a clinician am well abreast with taking patient history, conducting some laboratory investigation and managing their condition according Ghanaian standard treatment guidelines, I am also a team member of clinical safe and quality health care and outreach team. We mostly ensure the provision of safe environment and safe protocols for both patients and staff, by conducting weekly infection prevention supervision. We also provide home care services for the aged by checking their vital signs like blood pressure, pulse rate,respiratory rate, temperature ,I screen those with diabetes for high or low glucose levels , serve their prescribed medications, and also book them for their appointment with their physician.
From my duties and responsibilities above I used the word we which explain that I am a good team player, passionate about what I do, compassionate when it comes to patients welfare. I adapt easily to changes that is why I can change from a medical assistant to health care assistant without any difficulty.
