I am Margret Kemuma Abuga, a Diploma holder in Orthopaedic Trauma Medicine from Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), Makindu Campus. I am also able to work effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and patient safety.
During my training and clinical exposure, I gained practical experience in caring for patients with orthopaedic and traumatic injuries. I have developed confidence in handling patients with fractures, assisting with appropriate treatment and immobilization, providing wound care, monitoring patients, and supporting their recovery and rehabilitation. These experiences have strengthened my communication, clinical decision-making, teamwork, and ability to work under pressure.
