My diploma training and internship at high-volume hospitals like Tenwek Mission Hospital and AIC Litein Hospital have equipped me with the technical and interpersonal skills necessary to thrive in a modern, multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
During my internship at Tenwek Mission Hospital, I provided comprehensive care in both medical-surgical and maternal units. I gained confidence in administering medication, conducting patient monitoring using advanced multiparameter devices, and participating in emergency and trauma response including CPR. My earlier clinical rotations at AIC Litein Hospital gave me hands-on experience in theatre nursing, mental health care, and community outreach, where I worked directly with patients across all age groups and cultural backgrounds. I have also provided home-based care and health education during my volunteer service, demonstrating compassion, adaptability, and a strong sense of service.
I am certified in Basic and Advanced Life Support (BLS and ACLS) and trained in cervical cancer screening and treatment (VIA/VILLI, cryotherapy, thermal ablation). I am confident in the use of medical equipment including ECG machines, glucometers, infusion pumps, oxygen concentrators, and EMR systems.
