My name is Ashlirey Fernandez, and I’m from the Philippines. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and graduated cum laude. While I truly love teaching, I’ve made the decision to pursue a different path — one that has always been close to my heart: working in the hospitality industry.

Ever since I was a child, I’ve dreamed of being part of this field. During college, I worked part-time in roles such as cashier, barista, and counter crew — experiences that helped me grow personally and professionally. These jobs taught me how to be adaptable, handle pressure, and provide great customer service with a smile. They also made me realize that this is the kind of work I genuinely enjoy.

Although teaching abroad could have been an option, I’ve always felt that the language barrier might hold me back from giving my best in that profession. That’s why I’m choosing to focus on hospitality, where I believe I can truly shine. I’m hardworking, dedicated, and always give my best in everything I do. I can communicate well in English and love working with people from different backgrounds.
