The Liebhartstal sanatorium is looking for
1 nursing assistant.
(Full time)
with successful completion of a diploma recognized in Austria assistance in the care of people in need of care to support members of the higher service for health and nursing. Independent implementation of health and nursing measures as part of the nursing process specified by the higher service for health and nursing.

Direct superiors: Senior nurse (middle nursing management) Qualified health and nursing nurse as part of the collaboration in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures: the doctor / doctor
- Nursing measures may only be carried out by order and under the supervision of
members of the higher service for health and nursing.
In the extramural area, orders must be made in writing.
- Implementation of basic nursing techniques
- Implementation of basic mobilization techniques
- Body care and nutrition
- Patient observation
- Prophylactic care measures
- Documentation of the care measures carried out
- Care, cleaning and disinfection of aids
- Participation in therapeutic and diagnostic procedures may only be carried out on a case-by-case basis with a doctor's written order and under the supervision of members of the higher service for health and nursing or doctors.
- Administering drugs
- Administration of subcutaneous insulin injections including taking blood from the capillary to determine the blood sugar level using test strips
- Execution of tube feeding with lying gastric tubes (PEG tubes), except in the extramural area
- Applying bandages and dressings
- Measures of patient observation for medical reasons: measuring blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight, excretions, observing the level of consciousness and breathing
- Simple heat and light applications
- Social care of the patient/client/people in need of care
- Carrying out household activities
