For more than 300 years, the Wagner family has been running a winery, which is documented as having been running over 11 hectares of vineyards in Vienna and Klosterneuburg Weidling. The oldest part of the cellar dates back to the 17th century.
Since 1784, when Emperor Josef II legally regulated the sale of wine in Vienna, we have been serving our home-made wines. The company got its eye-catching name from Josef Wagner, who was the last volunteer fire department captain in Heiligenstadt around 1900. The wine tavern was significantly enlarged by a conversion in 1972. Since then, seven rooms on two levels have been available to guests.
In winter, the wood-fired tiled stoves give off a particularly cozy warmth. In summer, our guests have the opportunity to enjoy the evening in a terraced garden or in the picturesque arcaded courtyard. In addition to our excellent wines, we are particularly proud of our warm and cold Heurigen buffet with seasonal delicacies. We are always happy to accommodate special requests from our guests.
To strengthen our successful team, we are looking for the 19th district with immediate effect
